Ghana Tourism Authority Head of Marketing, Roberta Dawson-Amoah Wins Africa Travel 100 Women Award
Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Head of Marketing, Mrs. Roberta Dawson-Amoah has won the coveted Africa Travel 100 Award which recognises exceptional women in the travel and tourism sector.
Mrs. Roberta Dawson-Amoah is a consummate Tourism Marketing professional with several years of experience in both the public and private sectors. She has also worked and acquired experience in Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Tourism Management.
Since 2018, she has served as the Head of Marketing at the Ghana Tourism Authority, the country’s main agency for tourism marketing and promotion, where she has overseen tourism marketing campaigns such as the highly successful, ‘Year of Return’ and the ongoing, ‘Beyond the Return.’
Roberta thrives on being innovative and dedicated and has always identified and pursued new opportunities to achieve process development and re-engineering. She co-published a paper: Assessing the brand knowledge of Ghana as a Tourism Destination: M MITTAL, R DAWSON-AMOAH, K BENYI; OORJA-INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF MANAGEMENT & I.T 14(1&2).
